민화 작가 아이네즈 길(길혜은)은 지난 10년간 현대의 감성과 전통의 깊이를 엮어내는 작업에 몰두해왔습니다.

운심석면이 소장한 옛 민화를 배경으로 현대 민화의 아름다움을 감상해보시기 바랍니다. 일찍이 일본 민예학자 야나기 무네요시(柳宗悦)가 ‘불가사의’라고 격찬했던 바로 그 아름다움입니다.

전시 기간: 2026.10.2.~11.8.

Minhwa artist Inez Gil (Gil Hye-eun) has spent the past decade creating works that weave together a contemporary sensibility with the depth of Korean tradition.

Set against a selection of traditional Minhwa from the Woonsim Collection, this exhibition invites you to discover the beauty of contemporary Minhwa alongside the art of the past.

It is the beauty that Japanese folk-craft scholar Yanagi Muneyoshi (柳宗悦) once praised as enigmatic.
